The Late Order: turning a frustrated customer around
A branching scenario for contact-center agents. Every choice changes how the customer feels, and the conversation goes where your words take it.
Sample project · Brightside Home Goods is a fictional organizationThe challenge
Brightside’s new agents knew the refund policy by heart, but complaints kept escalating to supervisors. In the moment, agents defended the policy instead of helping the person on the line.
- Escalations were tying up team leads
- Product knowledge was strong; conversation skills weren’t
- Agents had no safe way to practice before taking live calls
Our approach
Instead of another policy module, we built one realistic call that agents can play, fail, and replay.
- A live mood meter shows the customer’s reaction to every reply
- Coaching feedback after each choice explains why, not just right or wrong
- Three different endings, so agents see the cost of each habit
- A one-line takeaway they can use on their next call
Try it
Play the call
You’re on the phone with Sam. Their order is late again. See if you can save the day.
